The Great Vranec Competition

VRANEC SELECTION by
CONCOURS MONDIAL DE BRUXELLES 

The first edition of the great wine competition from wines made from the Vranec - Vranac - Vranç variety worldwide, will be held in North Macedonia,  Veles Wine District, the northern part of the main Macedonian wine artery Vardar River Valley.

For the first time, one of the key varieties of the Balkans will be part of the oldest wine competitions in Europe, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, behind which stands the 30-year-old experienced company Vinopres from Belgium.

​The host of the competition is the Association of Wines of Macedonia, supported by Ministry of Agriculture and GIZ. 

This year the competition will be held in Hotel Glorius, Lake Mladost, from 5 - 7 December 2023.

​Respected wine producers can register their wines until November 15, 2023

​For early registrations, the host of the competition has provided a discount of 50%.
