At the 2025 Balkans International Wine Competition (BIWC), Dane Hermes celebrated an extraordinary achievement, both Legacy 2023 and Merlot 2023 were awarded 94 points and Double Gold medals. Grown exclusively in the estate’s Lepovo vineyards, these wines reflect the unique character of this microclimate, where warm days and cool nights shape grapes of outstanding ripeness and elegance.

Dane Hermes Legacy 2023

A bold and complex red wine, Legacy opens with rich aromas of black fruits, layered with spice and subtle smoky traces. On the palate it is dry, concentrated, and vibrant, supported by refreshing acidity and velvety tannins. Its well-balanced structure culminates in a long, complex finish, making it a remarkable flagship expression of Dane Hermes’ craftsmanship.

Dane Hermes Merlot 2023

A pure varietal from Lepovo, this Merlot showcases a deep ruby color and enticing aromas of dark cherries, plums, and hints of chocolate. The palate is smooth and rounded, with a medium-to-full body, fine-grained tannins, and a lingering finish that combines fruit intensity with elegant freshness.
