Let's celebrate VRANÆC WORLD DAY

“Vranec World Day” continues its story with the 6th edition in 2024.
The celebration of “Vranec” causes shift in the promotion of this potent and irresistible grape variety world wide. Initiated in 2018 by the association “Wines of Macedonia”. 

Vranec is considered to be a very unique black grape variety from which you can get extremely high-quality wines with an expression of the terroir and the potential for a long bottle aging, after which they will reward you with opulent aromas and layered flavours. 

Vranec is grown in more than six countries of the Balkans or the so-called Wine Peninsula, on an area of ​​barely 14,000 ha. Its attractive wines and low quantities, seen in global terms, make it a real jewel in the world's wine ocean. Nevertheless, some wine experts have already discovered it, and Vranec World Day can be found on the renowned calendar of International Grape  Days by WSET.

This year, on 5 October, vranec wine salon will be organised in Macedonian Opera and Ballet.
