Results of Vranac Selection by CMB 2026 Announced The second edition of the international wine competition Vranac Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles was held from March 4 to 6, 2026, at Hilton Podgorica, turning the Montenegrin capital into a focal point for wines made from this emblematic grape variety. The competition gathered wines from Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia, highlighting the growing international attention surrounding Vranac and its close relatives — Kratošija (Tribidrag / Crljenak Kaštelanski) and Plavac Mali. Following the successful inaugural edition held in North Macedonia in 2023, the 2026 session once again confirmed the remarkable quality and stylistic diversity of Vranac wines across the wine peninsula of Southeast Europe. Key Distinctions of the 2026 Edition This year’s edition showcased an outstanding level of quality among both single-varietal Vranac wines and Vranac blends, with several top distinctions. International Revelation (Grand Gold Medal) was awarded to: Popov Vranec Reserve 2019 – POPOV Winery (North Macedonia). Blend Revelation (Grand Gold Medal) went to Dimitrije Reserve 2017 – Rade Rajković (Montenegro). In addition to these recognitions, numerous producers from the region were awarded Gold and Silver medals, including Tikveš, Stobi Winery, Château Kamnik, and Brzanov Winery, alongside several estates from Montenegro, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. More Information and Full Results The complete list of award-winning wines, including Grand Gold, Gold, and Silver medals, as well as the category Revelations, is available on the official competition website. vranecselection.com/vranac-selection-by-cmb-2026-the-results 👉 See the full results here: https://results.vranecselection.com/en/results
