​WINE EXHIBITION OF THE HIGHEST RATED MACEDONIAN WINES

More and more often we hear about Macedonian wines winning awards, which has somehow become normal for us when a wine wins an award. If we add that the majority of them are difficult to find or are insufficiently marked on the market, and if we "spice up" with the fact that the propositions for won medals such as silver, gold or big gold, platinum, differ from competition to competition, it somehow unfairly overshadows the success of those, highly rated wines.

Therefore the Macedonian Association of Sommeliers - MASOM, decided to organize a wine event for the wine professionals and winelovers to have the opportunity to feel the "taste of the awards", and to place the highest rated Macedonian wines for 2024, in a well-deserved place.

The wine event "Taste of the Awards" will be held on October 4, 2024, at the 55 Roof Bar of the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel - Skopje, from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM. This exclusive, and unique wine event, for the first time, will unite award-winning wines from several world-renowned wine competitions:
DWWA - Decanter World Wine Awards, CMB - Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Mundus Vini and BIWC - Balkans International Wine Competition.
 
Visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to taste fifty premium wines, highlighted in the event wine guide, from fifteen Macedonian wineries, namely: Tikvesh, Bovin, Venec, Lazar, Kamnik, Popovi, Paragon, Stobi, Iliev, Maksimilian, Zaharchev, Dane Hermes, Old School, Sopot and Imako Vino.

For visitors who want to get to know more deeply about the highest-rated wines from each of the exhibitors of the event, a masterclass will be held under the name "Wine Peak Promenade" which will be led by the wine expert, and international wine judge, Ms. Katerina Kostovska .
