The Association of Macedonian Family Wineries offered wines and rakia (rakija) for tasting at their sixth wine salon.  Tikves Wine District Salon 2024 | Terroir.mk © Traditionally, at the end of the year, this wine salon arouses increasing interest among wine enthusiasts and professionals alike. The event is more interesting in that the vast majority of wines of these smaller Macedonian producers gathered together in their Association, simply have a hard time reaching the wider local market, which is mainly caused by the smaller production quantities. Therefore, if you want to be in the course of their development, among other things, the easiest way is to visit this salon. 
This year, unlike previous ones, the salon was held in the wine town of Negotino, which is located right next to the country's main wine artery, the Vardar River and its valley. Hotel Gray Star was an important point for visitors to this wine salon, where you could find close to 50 producers of wine and rakija. Following the development of these producers over the years, their positive development concerning quality is evident. Among the sea of wines with acceptable quality, you could also find wines in the range from good to very good quality that we single out: WHITES

REDS
SPIRITS
It is impossible to taste everything at events like this. We believe we would have found some more wines and rakia to highlight, so we apologize in advance for that.
