This week will start the third international wine fair "Wine Vision By Open Balkan", which will be held in Belgrade from November 22 to 24, 2024.

​The fair is organized under the auspices of the governments of Serbia, North Macedonia, and Albania as part of the Open Balkans initiative, and will provide an opportunity to intertwine the Balkan wine roads uniquely and bring together the best wine producers in the region.
 
The goal of the fair is to celebrate the crafts of the masters in the production of the best wines and promote the unique combination of flavors and aromas that represent the spirit of the Balkans, its geography and abundance of varieties, as well as the way of thinking of those who enjoy the wines of this and other regions.
 
The program includes additional activities that include the Open Balkan Wine Trophy 2024 wine competition, expert meetings of various formats, masterclasses, talks about the potential of the wine industry in the Balkans, the possibility of increased presence on global markets, as well as B2B meetings where you will have the opportunity to expand your business, establish new and strengthen existing contacts.

MASTERCLASSES

In the part of masterclasses from North Macedonia, the following two masterclasses will be held:

Stanušina - The best-kept secret of the vineyards of North Macedonia
Led by wine expert Jadranka Klarić
 
24/11/2024 (Sunday) at 16:00 Hall 2A, Hall 1
Vranec - History, Terroir and Character
Led by WSET educator and wine expert Zvonko Herceg

As the capital of the best wines, Belgrade will gather at this fair the most eminent winemakers, winegrowers, cellarmen, oenologists, sommeliers, and wine merchants, as well as exhibitors from the most famous European and world wineries.
