Following the overwhelming success of last year’s debut, one of the summer’s most enchanting wine events returns to the shores of Lake Ohrid. The second edition of “Above the Lake” – Ohrid Wine Salon 2025 will take place on Saturday, August 16, at the iconic Dolni Saraj summer stage, offering an unforgettable evening that blends wine, gastronomy, and culture in one of Macedonia’s most breathtaking settings.

Organized by Restaurant Kaneo, a passionate promoter of wine culture, the event will once again gather the most prominent Macedonian wineries and distilleries, highlighting the depth and diversity of the Macedonian wine identity to both local and international audiences.

“Above the Lake” is open to wine lovers, industry professionals, and the HORECA sector, providing a platform for tasting, education, and networking. This year’s edition expands its offering with the participation of local food artisans, including Slow Food representatives, traditional dairy producers, and other small-scale gastronomic champions.

Guests can enjoy unlimited tastings of wines, wine distillates, and local delicacies, all included in the ticket price, along with a special Riedel wine glass to elevate the experience.
